We cannot go to the park in this pandemic era

We love parks including the small park in our village. Our favorite is the big park by Manila Bay where there are trees and lots of nice restaurants. It's nice to have a barbecue by the bay. But now that it is prohibited to go to parks I wonder how park lovers survive the boredom of the home. We have to admit that man cannot live on bread alone. We need diversion and entertainment too. My park now is our front yard and our backyard.

Yes, human beings cannot live on bread and butter alone, they need entertainment as well. However, in this pandemic era, we need to think beyond our own pleasure. We need to think about not just our safety but also the safety of other people. There are certain things we need to do and sacrifice our personal wants for the sake of the survival of the human race.

Large parks are open spaces with a lot of greenery which is actually good for health and people need that. However, it is seen that when people are allowed access to such open spaces, they just throng them in large crowds, do not follow protocols such as wearing masks and maintaining social distances, so such spaces have to be closed down. If people heeded rules and maintained discipline, such places could remain open.
